Rainwater Entry & Façade Moisture

Recurring dampness near windows, cracked render, parapets or rainwater goods.

Discuss your concern

The problem

Staining appears after rain or moisture is suspected around a window, render system, façade junction or roofline.

What an investigation could involve

Examine accessible rainwater goods, window interfaces, sills, render, masonry and EWI terminations; compare visible defects with the location and timing of the reported moisture.

What you could receive

An illustrated findings report identifying observed concerns, plausible water-entry routes, limitations and potential repair details or further tests.

Scope and limitations: A visible defect does not prove it caused concealed moisture. High-level access, opening-up and specialist leak tracing require an agreed additional scope where appropriate. An appropriate scope, necessary competence, insurance, timing and survey conditions must be established before any paid investigation.
