How Vertex supports your project
Your fee pays for the agreed technical work; the initial enquiry conversation and quotation are free. We also help you understand the next steps and keep the relevant project information organised.
After you submit the enquiry form, the system creates an internal project with a reference and schedules a team follow-up. Our team reviews your brief and manages the quotation, agreed activities, report and invoicing there. The CRM is a tool for our team; it does not automatically accept quotations, reserve appointments or send technical advice on behalf of an engineer.
Access is by project and must be authorised. It is not required to request a fee or submit an enquiry.
The client portal is optional. Vertex must approve the relevant project and email address; receiving an enquiry reference does not create portal access. Depending on the account setup, you may receive an invitation or be asked to register or sign in using the authorised email.
Once signed in and granted access, you can view the relevant project information and confirmed appointments. Other clients’ projects, draft internal documents and team notes are not available through your account.
Vertex reviews and issues each document before sharing it to your portal. You may be able to view a released document on screen or open its attached PDF. A new enquiry does not mean a report or quotation is already available.
If a signed-contract request is added to your project, the portal may offer an upload step. Do not upload sensitive signed documents until Vertex has confirmed the appropriate secure submission method for your project.
You can ask us to clarify the agreed findings, explore a further junction or build-up, or discuss what information a different specialist would need. Any substantial new analysis, return visit or additional report is scoped and quoted before it begins; free initial guidance is not unlimited consultancy or a guarantee of defect resolution.
You can ask about inclusions and scope—or send your enquiry without using chat.
