Scope and limitations: Desktop calculations depend on supplied information and cannot verify concealed as-built conditions. Design proposals also require separate fire, structural, weatherproofing, manufacturer and statutory checks where relevant. The £100 entry price does not include a full WUFI assessment or a detailed thermal-bridge calculation. An appropriate scope, necessary competence, insurance, timing and survey conditions must be established before any paid investigation.
