Junction Failure & Remedial Detail Review
Practical thermal improvements for difficult eaves, reveals, floor edges, plinths and other building-envelope interfaces.
Discuss your concernThe problem
A recurring cold spot, condensation-prone interface or poorly performing detail needs a technical review and an achievable improvement proposal.
What an investigation could involve
Review available design information and observations, identify potential causes and compare suitable insulation-continuity or junction options. Thermal modelling may be commissioned as a separate or combined deliverable.
What you could receive
A scope-specific review of the existing detail, proposed improvements and relevant buildability, weatherproofing and further specialist checks.
Building physics & junction solutions
U-values, WUFI, 2D thermal bridging and practical junction recommendations can be commissioned as a single agreed technical scope. Straightforward desktop reports from £100; detailed modelling and multi-detail reports quoted individually.
Scope and limitations: A thermally improved proposal is not automatically suitable for construction. Any required structural, fire-safety, waterproofing, statutory or manufacturer approvals must be addressed separately. An appropriate scope, necessary competence, insurance, timing and survey conditions must be established before any paid investigation.
