2D Thermal Bridge Modelling & Junction Analysis
Modelled heat flow, ψ-values and internal surface-temperature performance for defined building junctions.
Discuss your concernThe problem
A designer or owner needs to understand the thermal performance of an eaves, floor, balcony, wall or window junction, or compare a proposed improvement.
What an investigation could involve
Review available drawings and material properties, agree boundary conditions and model the defined 2D section to assess heat-flow patterns, linear thermal transmittance and relevant surface-temperature factors.
What you could receive
A calculation report with the defined detail, model inputs, stated assumptions, relevant ψ-value and temperature-factor results and an explanation of what the results mean for the project.
Building physics & junction solutions
U-values, WUFI, 2D thermal bridging and practical junction recommendations can be commissioned as a single agreed technical scope. Straightforward desktop reports from £100; detailed modelling and multi-detail reports quoted individually.
Scope and limitations: Modelling describes the specified geometry, material properties and boundary conditions. It does not independently prove how concealed work was constructed or constitute a complete building-regulations, fire or structural assessment. An appropriate scope, necessary competence, insurance, timing and survey conditions must be established before any paid investigation.
